Crisis in Georgia Relief

United Jewish Communities/the Federations of North America has opened an emergency mailbox for Jews and the general population in the Democratic Republic of Georgia/South Ossetia. JDC and JAFI have already begun assisting the local Jewish community, which is estimated at 7000-12000 people.  All funds raised through the emergency mailbox will support JAFI and JDC's relief work.  For more on the Jewish communal response to the Georgia crisis.
