Jewish Federation of San Antonio

The Jewish Federation Annual Campaign supports local agencies: Jewish Family Service, Golden Manor Jewish Senior Services, the Barshop Jewish Community Centerand the Eleanor Kolitz Academy.  The Campaign also supports overseas needs for social services in Israel and internationally.  Chai High, the Beldon Library, the CRC, the Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio, the San Antonio Jewish Coalition for Literacy, S.A. GIVEBACK,  and the Maimonides Society programs are other Federation programs supported by the Annual Campaign. Stand up and be counted!

STAND UP AND BE COUNTED

The 2009 Annual Campaign of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio is underway.  Over 400 donors have raised their gift or made a new gift this year. Raise your gift over your 2008 contribution to join our Stand Up and Be Counted list.   Donate now to the 2009 Federation Campaign to help those who needs are even greater in San Antonio and overseas. Your gift will be appreciated now more than ever.  

Children's Book Drive

A children’s book drive will be held from August 1 to September 10.  All children’s books collected will be given to tutors of the San Antonio Jewish Coalition for Literacy to provide their students or for the Beldon Library collection or for the Beldon Library spring book sale.  Please deliver your books to the Jewish Federation offices at the Campus for the San Antonio Jewish community at 12500 N.W. Military Hwy. Suite 200.  The drive is coordinated by the Community Relations office of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio and is part of the Obama Administration’s United We Serve initiative of community service.  For more information call 302-6960.

Literacy program Seeks Tutors
